RecipeMate is in early access. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use AI to read your recipes and invoices, and what we will never do.
Your account details (name, email) and the data you enter to run your business: ingredients, recipes, prices, and the invoice or recipe text you import. We store this so the app works for you across sessions.
When you import an invoice or a recipe, the text you provide is sent to a large language model (LLM) to extract structured data — item names, quantities, prices, steps. The provider processes it only to return that result and, per its API terms, does not use the data to train its models. We only send what you choose to import.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other customers. Each workspace is isolated from every other workspace. We use your data only to operate RecipeMate for you.
You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time. Reach out to your account representative with any question or deletion request.
Because we are early, this policy may change as the product matures. We will keep this page up to date and keep the language honest and readable.
